There will be tabs you can click to display different information.
The PROPOSAL tab is the actual proposal and will display the proposal fields.
Some fields are integrated with Campus Solutions.
Some fields are not editable by proposal authors.
The type of fields and the ability for authors to edit fields varies based on the proposal type.
If you have questions
If the proposal type is revising an existing program or course, there will be a CHANGES tab. This will show the changes an author made to fields.
The DEPENDENCIES tab on a course proposal, will show all of the majors, minors, certificates that have the course included in their requirements and/or sample plan of study.
The DEPENDENCIES tab on a program proposal, will show any programs that require that program. Example, a major in X requires a minor in Y.
The CROSS LISTING tab for course proposals will indicate if the course that is being revised is part of a cross listing group and specific field information. Cross listed courses are unique and require special assistance by the Curriculum staff; please be sure to consult Curriculum@ilstu.edu before submitting a new or revise proposal for a cross listed course.
The PROPOSAL TOOLBOX on the right-side of the proposal disiplays the curent status (pending or approved) and decisions made to the proposal (hover mouse over the circles to see the title of each workflow step). There are 3 tabs - DECISIONS, WORKFLOW, and ACTIVITY.
DECISIONS tab: If you are part of the current workflow step for the proposal, and have permission to make a decision on the proposal, you will see your options listed (Approve, Route Back, Reject). Learn more about Making Decisions on Proposals.
WORKFLOW tab: Shows all of the workflow steps, if a decision for the step has been made, the decision will be indicated.
ACTIVITY tab: Shows an overview of all the actions made to a proposal including edits to fields, decisions (approved, routed back), and any comments made by proposal reviewers.
