Illinois State University Curriculum Committees

Coursedog, the new curriculum management system, is not live at this time. Campus will be notified when it is available.

The purpose of the Undergraduate Curriculum Committee (UCC) and the Graduate Curriculum Committee (GCC) is to provide guidance, advocacy and oversight of the university curriculum. The UCC is an external committee of the Academic Senate. The GCC is an internal committee of the Graduate Council. The appropriate curriculum committee reviews new programs, program revisions, program deletions, and changes to graduation requirements.

Curriculum development and revision begins at the department/school level, moves to the college curriculum committee, and to then to the appropriate university level curriculum committee.

Questions concerning the curriculum process and individual proposals should be directed to curriculum@illinoisstate.edu.
